Nonprofit strategist with 20+ years in the field of private philanthropy and nonprofit work.  I’m interested in moving beyond the power of philanthropy to effect social change by harnessing talent in every sector of our society.

In 2015, I served as the Interim Executive Director of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, a national membership organization whose mission is to develop passionate social change leaders.

A former Executive Director of an established grantmaking organization, I bring a wealth of experience and insight from the grantmaking perspective.  For nearly 20 years I have worked with organizations from all corners of the nonprofit sector and have a breadth and depth of the issues that is unique and rare among grantmakers and nonprofit executives alike.

Additionally, I am a current student at Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy, pursuing a M.S. in Organizational Change Management. I hold a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University’s Public Policy Institute and a B.A. in Modern European Studies from Connecticut College. (When I’m not busy advancing social change, I also take pictures.) I grew up in New York and New Jersey, and have lived briefly overseas where I attended the University of Paris.
